Can student taken loan for higher education himself claim deduction of interest in their on Income tax return. ??

Yes, if you are an individual and have taken a loan from a bank or approved institution for your own higher education, you are eligible to claim the full interest paid as a deduction under Section 80E, provided you file your taxes under the Old Tax Regime.
