if certificate of form 10-I is taken from pescribed dr. which is not working in govt. hospital. than deduction is allowed or not..............it is not relevent whether treatment is in govt. or pvt. hospital.

yes deduction is allowed.

but in income tax says that there must be specialies dr. working in govt. hospital.

They have to be certified by a Neurologist for diseases in (i), Oncologist for (ii), Nephrologists for (iv) and a specialist with degree in Hematology for diseases in (v). You can get a certificate from a specialist even if the treatment is being undergone in a private hospital.""

 

 

u should obtain certificate from civil sergeon for claiming deduction
