sir, mortage loan interest and principal can I claim 24b and 80c principal?
mortgage interest principal is eligible 80c . pls explain sir
Interest on mortgage loan for house can be claimed u/s 24B upto 200000 rupees and under 80C repayment of loan upto 150000 rupees
you can also claim deduction on certain conditions under
Section 80EE allows income tax benefits on the interest portion of the residential house property loan availed from any financial institution. You can claim a deduction of up to Rs. 50,000 per financial year as per this section. You can continue to claim this deduction until you have fully repaid the loan.
