Deduction for tution fees of 2 childern is allowed as deduction to parent who is paying it u/s 80C.

Dear members is there any upper limit per child that applies? Thanks
Max deduction of Rs.150000 is allowable u/s 80C
Somehow I am under the impression that it is Rs 100 per child per month. Is there anything on these lines in IT act.
Rs.100/- per month per child ia exempt in respect of Children Allowance receivwd by employee from employee.
It is not for tution fee.
Thanks for the clarification Rashmi.
deduction is available for tuition fees only or tuition fees+taxes paid on it?

only tuition fees is eligible for deduction.

i paid fee from my own bank account, can my father take deduction for the amt paid regarding llb fee

I think no such restriction is there like insurance premium.this is like fund concept.parents providing fund directly or indirectly  .you are just making the payment on behalf of your father . Deduction can be claimed.
