I am trying to file my return for AY2018-19 in ITR-2. Downloaded the Excel Utility (version PR1.1 dtd 30/05/2018) for Offline preparation, filled up everything as needed, validated every sheet, calculated set offs and taxes, checked the pre-X M L sheet and successfully downloaded into X M L, without any error message. When I try to upload the same X M L file into eFile option on incometaxefiling.gov.in, I am getting the following error:
The XML Schema is invalid. Please upload the XML in the correct schema.
