Quick Summary
If you received your January and February 2024 salary in April 2024 (the next financial year), you should still include this income under the salary head for the financial year 2023-24 when filing your Income Tax Return (ITR). This is permissible even if the salary isn't reflected in your Form 26AS. Failing to declare it in the correct financial year could lead to a higher tax burden in the subsequent year.

Maintained on what basis?????

No problem if it is not showing in 26AS. You can include it in current return.
