Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies which Income Tax Return (ITR) form to file when an individual owns two self-occupied houses and has business income. While ITR 4 is typically for one house and business income, having two self-occupied properties necessitates filing ITR 3. This is because ITR 3 covers income from business or profession, and is the correct form even if the individual is not a partner or director.

Then also ITR 3 should be filed
Itr 1
salary income and income from other sources individual assesse. Income less than 50 lakhs, 1 house property
income upto Rs. 50 lakhs
itr 2
sources exceeds Rs. 50 lakhs , more than 1 house property,
director of a company
foreign assets and unlisted shares
itr 3
income from business profession
partner in a partnership firm
individual director in a company.
ITR 3 should be filed in this case
The querist has not mentioned that.
He is neither a partner nor a director.
ITR 3 should be filed
