1. Is tan Mandotory on purchase of Land.{No (as per Subsection 3 of 194IA) }
Is above sub section superceded/is it till applicable.
2. Is 194IA applicable on purchase of Land from NRI or tds u/s 195 is applicable.Then TAN is mandatory/Not.

TAN NO is not required in case of TDS that is deducted on account of Sec 194IA
Sec 195 will be applicable if the transferor is a non resident. And as per sec 195, tan no is mandatory to be provided
