You mean the question from group 2 advanced Accountancy...acquistion question....

No such instruction is given to the examiners.

I can not reveal the source but i know it.

it's acquisition question and for ur kind information if any question comes out of sylabus then it's decided in examination comittee .

one of my ca friend has checked ipcc copies. once marks is awarded by the examiner it is not increased unless there is totalling error or any unchecked question.in case of awarding full marks in any qn. specific instruction is given in the answer sheet itself. it is upto u to believe it but i cannot not reveal more details due to confidentiality.

Dear Samir, My 3 friends have checked copies of ICAI  and they have also not given the marks but as i have talked with G Somesekhar for the same and he told me that in the commitee it will be decided . i also can't say more due to confidiality

I so wish this is true.. This can really boost my marks..My coaching teacher MP Vijaykumar did a similar problem in class...And from memory I got only 60% of the q in exam right.. So this was actually out of syllabus..Let's see

if some marks are awarded for pcc students also????

PCC No Information

may be its true.anyway if it is,  it will be beneficial to ipcc students.lets hope for the best

No it was not out of syllabus

please reply coz it is been my 10thattempt

thanx anyways allthe best guys

Good joke. . . . . Result date declare hone ki khusi bardast nahi ho rahi kya??? Aisa kabhi nahi hota. . . . . . Weighted Average use kiya jata hai.

@ anurag karundia:  this question in advanced accountancy of absorbption is well within the syllabus of IPCC. Even ICAI knows about it n dats y they must have put it......let me tell you this is one of the simplest questions from as-14 you would ever get in a CA EXAM.....this is a Graduation level question.....i dnt knw y students found it difficult...!!!!!!!
