Quick Summary
A user mistakenly entered their annual income as Rs. 45,000 instead of Rs. 2,45,000 on two Form 15G submissions to SBI and HDFC banks. They are concerned about potential problems with the Income Tax Department and whether they can withdraw their Fixed Deposits. While there's no provision to revise Form 15G, the advice given is to take no action as their income is below the taxable limit, and to respond with evidence if contacted by the department. Withdrawing and re-depositing the FD is also suggested as a potential solution.

No provisions have been specified in the IT act for revision or cancellation of Form 15H. As a way forward, I would suggest you not to do anything since your total income during the year is less than the basic exemption limit chargeable to tax.

In case you receive any communication from department, you can contend before them by placing an argument and necessary evidences.
