i ws also searching d answer of same query 4 last 3 daysss...bt didnt get d precise answer...bt at last i gav d followin suggetion 2 my client...if u feel rite u cn giv d sm suggtion...

"statutory liab of d co. 2 pay bonus comes 2 an end after 1 year from d due date.....if co. does not pay bonus on due date den employee should raise a application 2 recover bonus within such 1 year...

but co. has 2 maintain d provsn as such for 3 years and then transfer d amount 2 labour welfare commissiner a/c maintained in every state"

hence co. can not write back/ writeoff the provn of bonus
