Yes. It is valid. However, in such cases where your photograph is not on the admit
card, you should carry a photo identity card issued by the Govt. or issued by ICAI at
the time of registration as articled assistants, failing which you will not be allowed
entry into the examination hall

The list of valid proofs of  Photo identity are as under:-

 

Voter Photo identity card issued by Election Commission of India.

 

Passport.

 

PAN Card issued by Income Tax Department.

 

Driving Licence issued by RTO.

 

Photo identity card having serial number issued by Central/State Government.

 

Student Identity Card with photograph issued by recognized school/College for their students.

 

Nationalised Bank Passbook with photograph.

 

Credit Cards issued by Banks with laminated photograph.

 

Adhaar Card..

 

or Identity Card issued by ICAI at the time of registration as articled assistants.

i recd my admit card for my ipcc gr 2 examination but it does not carry my photo and signature.....what should i do?  I have my identity card issued by icai at the time of registered as article......is it valid id proof or should i have to attested my photo and sign with a CA ?? Please reply soon.......
 

Same here..... I attested my photo with principal's sign where I m doing Articleship. .
