To download the '.csi' file for TDS return filing using your TAN number, visit the official TIN-NSDL website and navigate to the "TDS" section. Click on the "Quarterly Statement" under e-TDS/e-TCS. Enter your TAN and period, and click on 'View Challan Details'. Then, download the '.csi' file and save it to your system. If facing errors, ensure challans are reflected in the system, register your TAN correctly, and use the latest Return Preparation Utility (RPU) from the TIN website. Hyderabad-based e-TDS filers should ensure DSC is active, download the latest File Validation Utility (FVU), and use RPU v3.x or latest for Form 24Q/26Q/27Q return generation.
