What it takes to be at the Top? The best answer can only be given by
those who have just tasted it ..!!!

On 29th of January, as ICAI released its results for Nov 2008 PCC Exams
we could see members in the forum responding to the facts that it was coming
in. Members who cleared the exams were over the top and who were in the
merit list just couldn't believe they were there... This was the general
reaction ... But specifically we caught up with Dimpy Jindal (CA- PCC)-
1st Rank holder who shared with us her experience and her future plans...

		PCC-1st Rank Holder.

		 A
very charming and realistic person- this is what we could deduce while
chatting to her. She bore her own opinion and did not astray from her
points even when we were trying hard to do so. She was a 7th Rank Holder
in CPT exams held in Nov'06.

"Yes, I was overwhelmed but couldn't stop my tears rolling down. Can't help it!!! A Hansraj College student, I believe you need to plan
your college, tuition and CA course very well if you really want to work
out everything along with the practical training. Practical training is
very important so we shouldn't neglect that aspect too and give our
100% to it as well. I give 95% weightage to self studies and 5% to
tuitions. I would like to work in a Corporate Environment rather than
working in a practicing firm. Also start-ups do attract me but depends
what kind of work I'm involved in and whether it provides me the
individual growth that I'm looking for. Here the brand I'm working
with is of prime concern too as I would like to work with those who have
        the market's favoritism."

"There's no shortcut to hard work. So, while preparing yourself for
the exams make sure you have given your best efforts. One more thing we
tend to neglect before exams or a day before exams- calmness and sound
sleep. Both are very very important, I made sure I slept at least five
hours the day before my exams."

"Anything you pursue it's never easy to get there. But you need to
do it with dedication and commitment. My parents, teachers have been
guiding me throughout and here they are a catalyst too."

Clear thoughts and ready to venture out in the world of numbers and
figures, we really appreciate her presence of mind and welcoming
        behavior.
