1. Omitted by the Mediation Act, 2023, with effect from a date yet to be notified. Prior to its omission, section 76 read as under:"*76. Nomination of mediators from panel.-The District Commission, the State Commission or the National Commission shall, while nominating any person from the panel of mediators referred to in section 75, consider his suitability for resolving the consumer dispute involved."
