1,what is limit of turnover of an unregistered trader.
2 can an unregistered trader purchase goods from an unregistered trader .
3,can he purchase goods from interstate from a registered or unregistered trader .
4,can he sale goods in state and other state to a registered or unregistered trader .
5,is he is liable to keep sale purchase voucher and accounts for showing purchase sale turnover?
6,what will be done when any assessing authority comes his business and ask for registration.

1.below 20lacs 2. yes 3.yes 4.yes he can sell goods within state, but if he sells goods in another state he would be required to take mandatory registration under gst 5. No. Not under gst 6.then he has to take registration under gst

turnover meets 19 lacs he should take registration and in nort east states it is 9 lacs
he should collect tax from 20 lac / 10 Lac onwards
he can purchase locally and interstate
but cannot sell
5 yes he should have documentation
6 he should produce documents
Sir o would like to correct myself if your business is in northeast states like Assam, mizoram, nagaland , etc then your limit for unregistered dealer would be less than 10lac
