Subject: Amendment in export policy of Pulses .
S.O.(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development &
Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 of the Foreign Trade Policy,
2015- 20, the Central Government hereby amends, with imm ediate effect, Sl. No. 54 in Chapter 7 of
Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classification of Export & Import Items , as amended from time to time.
2. The prohibition on export of pulses till further orders as notified vide Notification No 78(RE-
2013)/2009- 14 dated 31.03.2014 read with Sl. No. 54 in Chapter 7 of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS)
Classification of Export & Import Items, as amended from time to time , will not apply to e xport of
Roasted Gram (whole/split) in consumer packs of 1 (one) Kg.
3. Effect of this notification:
Export of Roasted Gram (whole/split) in consumer packs of 1 (one) Kg has been permitted .
