File Attachment allows you to attach files to masters and vouchers in Tally similar to the way files are attached in emails. You can scan a document or capture an image using your mobile phone and attach it with a voucher in Tally. You can attach any kind of file with a master or voucher in Tally. This allows you to readily access files when needed. Let's say that you received goods from a vendor and also the test certificate. You want to readily access the certificate from the relevant purchase voucher of Tally. You can capture an image with your phone and upload the same to the computer running Tally and attach the image with the voucher. Now onwards the file is readily accessible from within the voucher with just a click. Address Book allows you to get your vendor / customer contact details from Tally. Apart from this, you can also add personal contacts to the address book without having to create a ledger master for them. * Works best with all tally versions from Tally ERP 9 v4.8 onwards.
