My social views are conservative, my politics are moderate, and my approach to English spelling and grammar is quite liberal. As anybody who reads my Profile regularly will know, I have a number of pet hates, including commercialism, cultural imperialism, and the insidious way that loose western values appear to have crept into Indian society; a situation that I could go on about about for days, but which you probably don't want to hear about right now. Other than this,

I’m a fully-fledged member of Generation X and cynic living in a world that swings between unbelievable naivety and utter paranoia. If it is a fashion then I don’t want to follow it, and if it is a trend then you can be sure that it won’t represent me. ]
