Shri Deshpande is Associate Member of Institute of Cost Accountants of India and also qualified as Company Secretary from Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has qualified himself as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA, USA) and also qualified as Charted Management Accountant from Charted Institute of Management Accountants, ( CIMA UK).

He is also qualified Insolvency Professional and Registered Valuer. He also recently qualified as Independent Director as well as Social Auditor.

In his professional career is advising number of giant Indian Companies and Multi National Companies.

CMA Harshad Deshpande is closely associated with reputed academic institutes in around Pune such as Sinhagad Business School, MIT School of Business and international B-schools like WLC College as visiting faculty.

CMA Deshpande has conducted corporate training programs for number of Corporates and also represented Pune Chapter of ICAI and WIRC of ICAI on various forums.

He has represented Maharashtra State in Kho-Kho championship. He is also Member of Pune based social welfare organization ‘NINAD’ and participated in various social activities of organization like Helping people disrupted by natural disasters e.g. Gujrat Earthquake, Floods in Maharashtra etc.

CMA Harshad Deshpande is elected as Central Council Member of ICMAI. He earlier occupied position of Chairman, WIRC of ICAI, Secretary of Pune Chapter of Cost Accountants and Treasurer of Pune Chapter of Cost Accountants. He is also Member, Advisory Committee of IPA of ICAI, as well as Member, advisory Commitee of ICMAI RVO. He is also member of Valuation Standards Board of ICMAI RVO.
