Deepak Wadhawan observed that industry was looking for effective internal auditors and so set up an online course on internal audit, available to all at www.eAuditor.in The way to do this course is through forming groups and a sponsor. Also available are links to jobs in internal audit

Currently he heads the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) practice at M.P.Wadhawan & Co, Chartered Accountants. Prior to this he was Senior Advisor, Risk Advisory Practice, KPMG.

Deepak was on the Internal Audit Standards Board (IASB) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India during the time the Standards on Internal Audit (SIA) were being drafted and on their committee that set up the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) certification course . He has authored the technical guide on Implementing ERM and Risk based Internal Audit at ICAI. He is a well sought after speaker on Risk Management at events organised by Central Govt,ICAI & professional bodies, CII & Chambers of Commerce,MBA Institutes, etc.

He has worked with a varied list of clients in Private, Public & NGO and is recignised subject matter person on Enterprise Risk Management & Internal Audit He was on the National Committee on IT/ITeS of CII and is currently on the Board of Directors of All India Heart Foundation.

Deepak graduated from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. He is Chartered Accountant in India and a Certified Public Accountant in USA.
