FAQ :
The main purpose is to amend Customs Notification No. 153/94 to include temporary imports of costumes and props for film-making as exempted goods.
Customs Notification No. 153/94, dated 13th July, 1994, is being amended.
Costumes and props for film-making are now included in the exemption.
This notification comes into force on the 2nd February, 2021.
The original exemption in Sl. No. 4 of the principal notification was for goods other than 'and sound-recording tapes'.
