FAQ :
The Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Countervailing Duty on Subsidised Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995 are being further amended.
The Central Government, under the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), is making these amendments.
The amendments are made in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (7) of section 9 and sub-section (2) of section 9B of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975.
The rules are for the identification, assessment, and collection of countervailing duty on subsidised articles and for the determination of injury.
