The circular extends the facility for REITs and InvITs to conduct unitholder meetings through Video Conferencing (VC) or other audio-visual means (OAVM).

Annual meetings of unitholders that become due in the calendar year 2021 can be conducted virtually until December 31, 2021.

Meetings other than annual meetings of unitholders can be conducted virtually until June 30, 2021.

REITs and InvITs must comply with the procedure prescribed in Annexure-I of SEBI circular no. SEBI/HO/DDHS/DDHS/CIR/P/2020/102 dated June 22, 2020.
