FAQ :

The import policy revision applies to Tur/Pigeon Peas (Cajanus Cajan), Moong (Vigna Radiata), and Urad (Vigna Mungo).

The import policy for Tur/Pigeon Peas, Moong, and Urad has been changed from 'Restricted' to 'Free'.

The revised import policy is valid with immediate effect and up to 31st October 2021.

Import consignments with a Bill of Lading issued on or before 31st October 2021 must be cleared by Customs on or before 30th November 2021.

The Department of Consumer Affairs, along with other concerned Departments and organisations including Customs, will be monitoring these imports.
