The Ministry of Finance has announced a reduction in the Basic Customs Duty (BCD) for refined palm oil and its fractions. The BCD will be lowered from 17.5% to 12.5%. This change is effective from December 21, 2021, and will remain in place until March 31, 2022. This amendment aims to benefit the public interest.
