FAQ :

The annual import quotas are 1.5 Lakh MT for Moong, and 4 Lakh MT each for Tur and Urad for the fiscal year 2021-22.

Applications are invited from intending millers, refiners, and traders of pulses.

Applications must be submitted online through the DGFT website under Services -> Import Management System -> Licence for Restricted Imports. Separate applications are required for each type of pulse.

The last date for submission of applications is 1700 hours on 15th April 2021.

Applicants will be selected through an algorithm-based lottery system, and the quota will be distributed equally among a pre-determined number of eligible applicants.

Importers who import less than 50% of their allotted quota will be debarred from applying for allocation in the subsequent year.
