FAQ :
From 25th February 2021, applications for Preferential Certificates of Origin (CoO) for exports under the India-Mercosur PTA and India-Thailand EHS must be filed electronically through the CoO e-platform.
No, manual applications for Preferential CoOs under the India-Mercosur PTA and India-Thailand EHS will not be accepted from 25th February 2021 onwards.
The e-platform will generate all existing CoO copies, plus an additional electronic copy. This electronic copy will include the officer's digital signature and the issuing agency's stamp.
A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is required for electronic submission. This should be a Class II or Class III DSC with the firm's IEC embedded.
