S.O. (E).- In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Companies (Second Amendment) Act, 2002 (11 of 2003), the Central Government hereby appoints the 12th day of August of 2012 as the date on which the provisions of sections 7, 8 (in relation to section 18 & 19 of the Companies Act, 1956), 20 and 25 (in relation to section 188 of the Companies Act, 1956) of the said Act shall come into force.
