G.S.R. 518(E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (f) of sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 27/2018-Customs (N.T.), dated, the 28th March, 2018, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, SubSection (i), vide number G.S.R. 295(E), dated, the 28th March, 2018, namely:-

In the said notification, in the table, after Sl. No. 13 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entry shall be added, namely: –

“14. Nashik”.

Note: – The principal notification No. 27/2018-Customs (N.T.), dated, the 28th March, 2018 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 295(E), dated, the 28th March, 2018.

FAQ :

The notification designates Nashik Airport as an International Courier Terminal.

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, issued this notification.

The designation is made in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (f) of sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962.

It amends the principal notification No. 27/2018-Customs (N.T.) by adding Nashik to the table of designated locations.

The notification was issued on 21st August 2020.
