Notification No. 20/2021-Customs (N.T./CAA/DRI)

S.O. 887(E). - In pursuance of notification No. 60/2015-Customs (N.T.), published vide number G.S.R. 453(E), dated 4thJune 2015 in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, section 3, sub-section (i), and as amended by notification No. 133/2015-Customs (N.T.), published vide number G.S.R. 916(E) dated 30th November 2015 in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, section 3, sub-section (i), issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, under clause (a) of section 152 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Principal Director General, Revenue Intelligence, hereby makes the following amendment in the Notification No.50/2020- Customs (N.T./CAA/DRI) dated 08.10.2020 published vide S.O. 3563(E) dated 12.10.2020.

In the said notification, against serial number 1, in column 5 for the existing words, “Joint/Additional Commissioner of Customs (Drawback), Nhava Sheva-II, Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Raigad” shall be substituted.

FAQ :

The main purpose is to amend Notification No. 50/2020-Customs (N.T./CAA/DRI) dated 08.10.2020.

It amends the entry for serial number 1 in the previous notification, specifically changing the designation in column 5 related to the Joint/Additional Commissioner of Customs (Drawback) at Nhava Sheva-II.

The amendment affects the Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House in Raigad, specifically Nhava Sheva-II.

The amendment is made in pursuance of clause (a) of section 152 of the Customs Act, 1962.
