The purpose of this Master Circular is to consolidate and update all instructions and guidelines related to Guarantees, Co-Acceptances, and Letters of Credit for Urban Co-operative Banks (UCBs).
This circular is addressed to the Managing Director / Chief Executive Officers of all Primary (Urban) Co-operative Banks.
The updated guidelines consolidate and revise instructions issued up to March 31, 2023.
The previous Master Circular, DoR.STR.REC.9/09.27.000/2022-23 dated April 1, 2022, is available on the RBI website.
This circular covers Guarantees, Co-Acceptances, and Letters of Credit.
