New Delhi, the 22nd July, 2021

S.O. 2904(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2020 (29 of 2020), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st September, 2021 as the date on which the provisions of section 4 of the said Act shall come into force.

FAQ :

The notification appoints 1st September 2021 as the date when specific provisions of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2020, will become effective.

The Companies (Amendment) Act, 2020 (Act 29 of 2020) is being amended.

The new provisions will come into effect on 1st September 2021.
