FAQ :

The electronic filing of Non-Preferential Certificates of Origin (CoO) through the Common Digital Platform for India's Exports will commence on 15th April 2021.

No, for exporters, submitting CoO(NP) applications on the online platform will not be mandatory immediately. The existing paper-based application process will continue in parallel.

The existing paper-based system for submitting and issuing CoO(NP) by designated agencies may continue to operate until 31st July 2021, or until further orders are issued.

Exporters will require a Class III Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) for electronic submission. This can be an individual-based DSC, an organisation-based DSC, or a DSC with the firm's IEC embedded.

The authenticity of an online Non-Preferential CoO can be verified through a QR code displayed on the certificate, or by entering the certificate number on the verification link on the e-CoO platform.

If you are already registered and using the common digital platform for Preferential Certificates of Origin, you do not need to register again. You can use your existing credentials to log in for Non-Preferential CoO applications.
