FAQ :

The main change is that listed entities must now disclose the shareholding patterns of promoters and promoter group entities separately, rather than collectively.

This change has been introduced in the interest of transparency for investors.

The revised format for disclosing the shareholding pattern of promoters and promoter group entities is placed at Annexure A of the circular.

Circular No. CIR/CFD/CMD/13/2015 dated November 30, 2015, is modified to the extent that shareholdings of promoter(s) and promoter group entities will now be disclosed separately.

Stock Exchanges are advised to bring the provisions of this circular to the notice of all listed entities and disseminate the same on their websites.
