FAQ :

Applications for a new Import-Exporter Code (IEC), applications for amendments or modifications to an IEC, and the one-time linking of Aadhaar for e-sign purposes will not be available.

These services are affected because the Central Board of Direct Taxes' PAN validation services, which are used by DGFT IT systems, will be unavailable during this period.

The DGFT services will be unavailable from 1st June 2021 to 6th June 2021.

The outage is due to the launch of the new e-filing portal by the Income Tax Department.

All exporters, importers, members of the trade, Regional Authorities of DGFT, Export Promotion Councils, Commodity Boards, and Trade Associations should plan their activities accordingly.
