The interest rate used is 7.1% per annum, compounded quarterly.
The Tables of Benefits are in two categories: one based on a subscription of Rs.10 p.m. from 1.1.1982 to 31.12.1989 and Rs.15 p.m. from 1.1.1990 onwards, and the second for those who opted out of the revised subscription rate from 1.1.1990.
These Tables of Benefits are being issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, Government of India.
Yes, these orders apply to employees of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department under Article 148(5) of the Constitution.
