The Excel utilities for ITR-1, ITR-2, and ITR-4 for Assessment Year 2024-25 have been released.

The first version of the utilities for ITR-1, ITR-2, and ITR-4 were released on 01-Apr-2024.

ITR-1 is for individuals who are residents (other than not ordinarily resident) with a total income up to Rs. 50 lakh, having income from Salaries, one house property, other sources (like interest), and agricultural income up to Rs. 5 thousand.

ITR-2 is for Individuals and HUFs who do not have income from profits and gains of business or profession.

ITR-4 is for Individuals, HUFs, and Firms (other than LLPs) who are residents with a total income up to Rs. 50 lakh and have income from business and profession computed under sections 44AD, 44ADA, or 44AE, along with agricultural income up to Rs. 5 thousand.
