FAQ :
ICAI is waiving condonation fees for the late filing of application Form 18, which relates to members and firms.
The fees are being waived due to difficulties faced by members and firms in filing Form 18 within the prescribed period, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
Form 18 covers applications for re-constitution of a firm, intimating joining or leaving of partners or paid assistants, and opening or closing of a branch office.
The deadline to apply with the waived condonation fees is 30th July 2021.
The waiver applies to transactions that occurred between 1st April 2021 and 30th June 2021.
The ICAI's SSP System is expected to be ready with the exemption of condonation fees within 4-5 working days.
