ICAI has responded to the Videos circulated around in social media about the need of changes in ICAIs Evaluation Procedures.
Official ICAI reaction is as follows:
It has been brought to our notice that certain videos are being circulated on social media including YouTube, whereby the examination and evaluation system of ICAI is being criticized. From these video clips, it is gathered that a wrong impression is sought to be created in the minds of the members, students of the Institute and other stakeholders that the system of examination and evaluation adopted by ICAI is having certain shortcomings and the same is required to be reviewed. However, the contentions being raised are baseless and are being circulated for tarnishing the image of the Institute and bringing disrepute to the profession for the reasons best known to those involved.
It appears that the said clips are created and being circulated with dishonest intention to misguide the members, students and other stakeholders of the Institute including public at large. Therefore, the students and other stakeholders are advised not to get misled by such baseless contentions being raised.
As you may be aware that student can seek certified copies of his evaluated answer books and can also exercise the option for verification thereof as per the laid down procedure.
ICAI is committed to providing quality education and set benchmarks in the examination and evaluation systems in the country. In case of any specific query, students are hereby advised to write to the Institute directly and the same will be addressed appropriately.
The interest of students is our foremost priority.
