The CBIC has waived the requirement to file annual returns through Form GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C.
Businesses with a turnover of up to ₹2 crores are eligible for the waiver of GSTR-9 filing.
Businesses with a turnover of up to ₹5 crores are eligible for the waiver of GSTR-9C filing.
This announcement was made as part of the 6th anniversary of the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
