INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AT POWER SYSTEM OPERATION CORPORATION LTD. (a wholly owned subsidiary of POWERGRID )

Power System Operation Corporation Ltd. (POSOCO) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.

Ministry of Power, Govt. of India vide a gazette notification dated 27th September 2010 directed that POSOCO shall operate the NLDC and the RLDCs with effect from 1 October 2010.

It is responsible for independent system operation with separate accounting and board structure. It is mandated:
• To supervise and control all aspect concerning operation and manpower requirement of RLDCs and NLDC.
• To act as the apex organization for human resources requirement of NLDC and RLDCS.
• To ensure planning and implementation of infra-structure required for smooth operation of RLDCs and NLDC.
• To coordinate the functioning of NLDC and all the RLDCs.
• To advise and assist State Level Load Despatch Centres, including providing specialized training etc.
• To perform any other function entrusted to it by the Ministry of Power

Power System Operation Corporation Ltd. is inviting applications for Industrial Trainees in finance department for Chartered Accountant. The following is the eligibility criteria for Chartered Accountant Industrial Trainees:-

1. Completed two years of Articleship.
2. The candidate should have a minimum of 11 Months of articleship period left and he/she should be eligible to undertake Industrial Training as per ICAI norms .
3. Should be residing in Delhi
4. Should have good knowledge of Word and Excel.

Trainees will be given a consolidated stipend of Rs. 12000/- per month (for a maximum period of 12 months).
