Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•In depth knowledge of financial and operations audit ;
•Strong knowledge of standards audit practices and ability to apply them;
•Ability to develop a comprehensive internal audit program for a bank;
•Excellent analytical skills and attention to details;
•Extensive knowledge of financial institution policies and procedures;
•Good risk management skills and experience;
•Must have a thorough understanding of the Afghan banking law and regulations;
•Excellent oral and written communication skills;
•Have high ethical standards and integrity in both their personal and professional dealings;
•Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Qualifications •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other business related field ;
•Professional certification, such as CIA / CBA / CPA / CISA / CFE / ACCA is desirable.
•Professional Audit certification is highly desirable.
•7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in public accounting firm or in internal audit at a financial institution;
•Have senior Audit Director Experience and Qualified with a solid track record of delivering quality audit services within a audit firm;
•Experience auditing operating systems, databases, networks, and other technological areas.
