1. At least 10 years experience in planning & supervising statutory, internal & tax audits of mid to large corporate clients in various industry sectors;
2. Experience in the field of Direct & Indirect Taxation,
3. Proficiency in handling a wide spectrum of activities encompassing finalization of accounts, reviewing internal systems & procedures and extending remedial actions / suggestion for improvement of the same;
4. Well versed with modern accounting systems, procedures & provisions of Companies Act, Income Tax Act, Service Tax and other Laws relating to Corporate Audits.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
1. Planning, Supervision & Finalisation of Statutory / Tax / Internal Audits for mid to large corporate clients in diverse industrial verticals.
2. Understanding and acquiring in-depth knowledge of a client’s business and system of accounting; analysis & review of financial statements and evaluation of internal control system for carrying out Internal / Statutory / Tax Audits;
3. Offering suggestions to clients for improvement of such internal control procedures;
4. Planning the audit, preparation of the audit programme, and ensuring compliance with audit methods and reporting as per statutory obligations;
Drafting and presentation of auditors report, significant accounting policies and notes to accounts.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Advisory & Compliance related to direct & indirect taxation
2. Planning and ensuring statutory compliances pertaining to direct & indirect tax matters;
3. Advising clients on various matters related to the same;
4. Advance Tax planning & preparing & filing of direct tax returns,
Preparation, filling & review of various forms & returns under indirect taxes such as Central Excise/Sales Tax (VAT/CST/State Sales Tax), Service Tax etc;
5. Liaisoning with the various authorities for the same.
