My client is currently recruiting a qualified Chartered Accountant for their audit service line who also has a compliance/tax background. Please send me your CV if you skills and experience matches with advert.
The candidate should have:
* Hands on experience on statutory audit and knowledge of IFRS and ISAs or knowledge of equivalent standards
* Knowledge of IT audit skills will be an added advantage
* Hands on experience in writing compliance reports based on interpretation of complex regulations
* Knowledge of drafting policies and procedures would be an added advantage
* Good analytical skills
* Self motivated with ability to perform under limited supervision at a demanding pace and under pressure
* Microsoft Power Point skills
* Some experience in supporting business development activities will be preferred
Job Overview:
- Independently handling compliance assignments, drafting reports, certification work to regulator
- Conducting audits as a Team Leader as well as a member & discussing audit related matters and issues with clients
- Drafting audit reports / summary, mentioning therein deviations and discussing the same directly with the partners
- Finalization of annual reports including Auditor's Report, Financial Statements like Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Statement and Notes to Accounts.
- Consolidation of group companies in accordance with IFRS
- Identification and test of internal control system for various processes and actively look for improvements therein
- Responsible for carrying out the quarterly reviews / audits of listed clients
- Statutory audits of listed and private companies, candidates with financial services background would be given preference
