Yahoo! Mail Not Working Properly...

2263 views 7 replies

Hi all !

I have a peculiar problem with my Yahoo web-based email (someone @ yahoo.com) client. The incoming email opens as usual, but with no body text (i.e. the text pane is entirely blank). I cannot compose, reply or forward messages. Further, any change in general preference settings like composing messages as “plain text” cannot be saved by clicking on the ‘save’ button. Is it due any system generated errors in my PC or in the Yahoo server or rather due to any loophole between Yahoo mail’s All New and Classic versions? Or, is it the result of any hardware compatibility clashes? Please guide me as to how I can resolve this problem without further loss of time.

Just disable the beta version, you will get good results...

Sir, could you please specify the relevant "LINK" or "PATH" so as to enable me to disable the beta version. I had opted for the Classic version earlier several times, but the problem remained unresolved. Please help me.

In your yahoo mail, there is a option button, from there you can move to classic mode...

actually, I just visited the yahoo, there is no such problems as you mentioned, so i think these are the problems of your browser, which browser you are using at present ?

The   browser I am currently using is IE6. My system has a lower resolution which is only 800 x 600 pixel and as such the beta/ all new version does not work properly.  However, I could enjoy the classic version that too with limitations. I cannot save changes in preference settings (for example, changing the "from address" of emails as per my choice) as the 'SAVE" button fails to save the changes once clicked on it after making the changes. Most of the mail related web pages open with errors on the pages. I donot know how to rectify the errors. It has taken off the fun of emaiIs. So, I am really frustrated and badly need your help.

There can't be any problem with Yahoo Mail. Its the most frequently used web based mail service..May be the problem with browser or cache files.
