while saving XML for itr2 the schedule SI shows 33 entries but I have no entries in that schedule is it OK to ignore it and uploading return

It is ok to ignore till the time they don't make a difference to your tax computation. which AY are u filing for? For AY 1718 I just checked, it has created 8 empty entries for me.

I am also filing for AY 2017-18 and Schedule SI shows 33 entries although I have not filled any.I have only filled Schedule S(Salarry) and TDS1. There are 6 entires with "Num of entries" as 0 and 3 non-entries (Schedule S, TDS1, SI)
