Xbrl validation tool

How to validate an XBRL instance document in MCA 21:-

1. Go to menu File> Open
2. A dialogue box will appear, browse and select an XBRL instance document.
3. Once the file contents are displayed on the tool, go to menu file > Validate
4. The tool automatically validates the instance document again the taxonomy and MCA 21 business rules. Incase of error, an error window will appear which shows the list of all errors existing in the instance document. Each error have to be rectified in the instance document and save the document again.
5. Repeat step 1 to 4 till all errors are removed.
6. On successful validation, a message is displayed “ The XBRL Document has been successfully validated”
