In case 2015-16 i.e. 31st March 2016 balance sheet & Pr. & Loss account not match with the 2016-17 balance sheet. which balance sheet I should follow?

It is advisable to correct mistake retrospectively if possible
otherwise go for FY2016-17
follow the current one..
