Hi Folks,

XBRL is the emerging language for electronic communication of business and financial data which is revolutionizing business reporting around the world. XBRL stands for eXtensible Business Reporting Language. It is one of the family of XML languages which is becoming a standard means of communicating financial and business information between businesses and over the internet. XBRL enhances the usability and transparency of financial information reported under existing accounting standards and simplifies disclosure and allows users to communicate financial information accurately. 

To disseminate the knowledge on the subject, XBRL Planet & NextGen has organized e-Learning Module on ‘XBRL – The Language of Accounting in the Digital World’. The training would be provided by Conor O’Kelly, Director of XBRL Planet.
